I have been studying and practicing negotiation for over a decade. First in business, then through law school, and now as a litigator who understands what it takes to bring both sides to resolution.

I serve as co-chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section as an Executive Committee member of the Connecticut Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section and have represented both plaintiffs and defendants at mediations that successfully resolved their disputes.

My approach starts with preparation. I invest the time to understand the dispute from every angle before anyone sits down at the table. The real work of mediation is not splitting numbers. It is identifying what is actually driving the conflict, listening for what is not being said, and helping the parties move past it.
